Gift Art - Mercy Peace

Finally, a serious art piece. ^_^
Again: because this is the game UnderTale's 1st birthday (today, 9/15/2016), I wanted to finish this piece as a gift for Toby Fox.

Weird to say that a Steven Universe episode actually inspired this idea. ...But it did.

In Mindful Education, the protagonist says (paraphrasing here): "I tried to help, but you wouldn't listen! I had no choice! I didn't want to hurt anybody!" I can empathize with these feelings. T^T ...I imagined myself trying to tell the protagonist- tell myself- why it really was "okay."

And all I could think of saying, was the fact that it takes more than 1 person to make peace.

Toby Fox's game, UnderTale, expresses this concept perfectly. If none of the enemies had responded to Mercy, there would be no Peace. (Likewise, if you the game player won't show mercy...)

This is a loving tribute to my favorite game of all time. It's taught me so much; I can never say "thank you" enough.
